Terms of Use
Scope of services of SOLID Free
SOLID is an online tool for identifying and verifying export control and sanction risks. Its use is at the user's own risk. SOLID does not guarantee binding test results, nor does the use of SOLID release you from the obligation to familiarize yourself with the legal regulations.
Obligations of the user
The user is responsible for accurate and complete answers to the questions posed in the various questionnaires. AEB SE has no influence on this and no control obligations. The final evaluation of the results generated on the basis of the user input is the sole responsibility of the user.
Use of the stored data content
SOLID offers the comparison of user-generated content and third-party data content as a main or secondary functionality for compliance screenings. The data content provided has been consolidated by third parties. AEB SE has no influence on the sources or on the creation and availability of the consolidated data content.
AEB SE guarantees neither the editorial quality nor the topicality, completeness or freedom from defects of the data content provided by SOLID. AEB SE does not adopt the content of the external data sets as its own at any time.
AEB SE reserves the right to change, supplement or delete SOLID without prior notice or to discontinue SOLID temporarily or permanently.
There is no entitlement to registration. By registering for SOLID, the user agrees to the terms of use. In the event of a breach of the terms of use, AEB SE is entitled to terminate the user relationship extraordinarily and without notice.
The use of SOLID can be terminated by the user at any time without notice in the application itself. All personal data will then be deleted immediately and irrevocably. The data protection conditions also apply.
Use of the SOLID forum
By registering for SOLID, users also agree to the terms of use for the SOLID Forum. The basic functions of both SOLID and the forum are free of charge.
AEB accepts no responsibility for the content posted in the SOLID Forum.
Users are prohibited from posting content whose publication constitutes a criminal offense or an administrative offense. Furthermore, users may not use or post any content in the SOLID Forum that violates the rights of third parties, i.e. in particular copyrights, trademark rights or competition rights, and/or that has offensive, racist, discriminatory, inciting, violence-glorifying, harassing or pornographic content. This also applies to communication within the forum.
Users are also prohibited from taking measures that are likely to restrict or interrupt the operation of SOLID, in particular the circumvention of security measures, the spread of viruses or other malware or the automated interception of data.
All ideas disclosed outside of an already existing and documented confidential business relationship are not confidential and may be further developed, passed on or published without restriction and free of charge.
In the event of unauthorized use of the forum, AEB may block users' access to SOLID in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice.
Liability
AEB SE shall only be liable for damages, regardless of the legal grounds, in the event of gross negligence or willful misconduct, in the event of injury to life and limb or in the event of liability under the German Product Liability Act. Any further liability on the part of AEB SE, in particular for simple negligence, is excluded by mutual agreement. AEB SE assumes no liability for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the data.
Reproduction
The content of this website may not be copied, distributed, modified or made accessible to third parties for commercial purposes. The pages may also contain texts, images and other works that are subject to third-party copyright.
